It's been awhile since I've posted anything but this little one has definitely kept me super busy!!!

September/October was a busy time this year- we went up to Colorado for Nicki & Logan's wedding. The wedding was beautiful and we had a great time visiting the Rocky Mountain Natl. Forest and friends and family. However, while up there my computer broke and my mom got hit by a truck while crossing Lamar Blvd! I decided I had to go take care of my mom for a bit so I drove out with Wyatt (picking up Auntie Tess in AZ). We returned a month later (with Aunt Kim this time). Wyatt did remarkably well with the sleeping in different places and a total change in his routine. He loved visiting with Patricia and her kids, May and Madison, Aunt Kim and her family... Thanks to all the Austin crew for your help!

This last month alone, Wyatt has grown so much!!! He eats about twice as much as he was just a few weeks ago. For breakfast this morning, he ate, yogurt, a little bit of banana, 2 scrambled eggs and some cheerios. Then some graham crackers (or cookies) and milk right before nap... He eats about 2 chicken strips for lunch with some pasta or cheese. Snacks and then a huge dinner of whatever we're eating and then cookies and milk again before bath and bedtime. He used to love peas and sweet potatoes but now he's just liking meat cheese bread, sigh. I'm trying to sneak them in there but he's pretty clever this one... as of 12/15/09, he's about 31" tall and 22lbs.

He runs, he climbs, he loves buttons (remotes and pushing mine are specialties of his)... He got his first hair cut on my birthday (11.05). He helps me walk the dog by holding the leash (higher up than where I'm really holding it) and helps getting dressed and undressed. Over Thanksgiving, we were all sick and Wyatt cut all four of his fangs (incisors), now his molars are starting to come in, when will this teething thing end?! Ha!

We go on walks, go to the zoo or wild animal park, sea world, the park down the street, the library and feed ducks and he's still full of energy! The YMCA has a Gym for Kids class he likes- tumbling, tramp, foam pit, climbing, parachute, balance beam... one pooped kid after that! He blows kisses and gives hugs to everyone! He loves books and the library, and is actually starting to speak some other than the occasional 'RAR'... which he still does but at appropriate times of Hippo/tiger/lion or other rar-ing animal sightings. Up and Down are definite words. Ma Ma and Da Day. Please (PEEEEZE) and go, shoe and woof woof, wa wa for water, cuk for cookie/c monster, tuck for truck, gwap for grape, stuck, bed is bread, lanala is banana, snack, chup for chip, gga for egg, teev for tv and pex for plex from Yo Gabba Gabba, ba ba is big bird, nolno is elmo, chick for chicken, cup for anything to drink other than his water, pa pa for pasta... I'm sure there's more but I'm out of time for now.

until later... wy

Poles and trees

Oh yeah, so Wyatt loves poles and trees. When we're walking in the park or down the street, he has to stop to touch the bark. When we're in Trader Joes, he gets mad if I don't swing the cart close enough to the structural poles for him to touch. At the farmer's market and at JB's soccer games, the pop up tents are the most fascinating because, you guessed it, there are poles holding them up!

So, we're at Cim's the other day, just a hot afternoon, hanging with the girls. (Wyatt really loves them, particularly Cami) We eat lunch, we dance all silly, do airplanes, watch Veggie Tales.... Then, alas, it's time for us to go. I'm by the front door getting our stuff together when we hear the loudest smash of glass I've ever heard that wasn't a car accident. We run into her dining room to see the 6 foot torchiere lamp has been pulled down, hit her oak dining table and shards of glass are EVERYWHERE. Wyatt and Annabelle are by the base of the lamp, in the far corner, which miraculously, has no glass near it. I tip-toe back and get Wyatt. Cim starts coming towards us and steps on a shard of glass. So, I run get my shoes on, make sure she's sitting off the carpet (oh yeah, shag carpet), tell the girls to stay still don't move. I got Annabelle out of the corner and back across the kitchen and made sure she and Wyatt had no glass on them. The girls watched Wyatt, while Cim about passed out. Got her a washcloth and ice and started to clean the glass up. After I made her vacuum (the first time in over a year, she was pretty pissed about that, heh :)she's spoiled by her cleaning lady), and we wiped down everything, the only two casualties were her foot and her table... and of course the lamp.

So, we learned that Wyatt is not allowed to touch poles. Unless they're structurally part of the building. :)

15 months old!

Ok, so the main reason I haven't posted in so long is that right after Wyatt turned 1 year old, he was walking. Which led to running and falling and climbing and me getting even more exhausted! But, I really need to update so here's the latest with the super kid. We've had a busy summer doing things with Cim and the girls or Dad & JB or his newest buddy, Remington. We've gone to Sea World, Wild Animal Park, the Zoo, Trolley Barn Park and Santee Aquatic Center, Birch Aquarium, Quail Botanical Gardens and so much more... tons of fun!

He eats pretty much everything we eat. He likes to pick food up himself and he plays with the spoon/fork and mimics but doesn't do so hot on the actual transferring of food, yet. He loves cheese, pasta, bread crust, pretzels, chicken, melon, strawberries, green beans and peas... he'll pretty much try anything which is awesome. He drinks milk and water, not so much a fan of juice, unless it's Jamba Juice (smoothies), he loves those and milkshakes from In and Out! :) Breakfast is usually yogurt and a banana. Sometimes, eggs and french toast.

Like I said, he's climbing like crazy. We got him a step stool and now he gets himself on/off the couches and up/down the stairs with minimal assistance. He loves playing with the vacuum cleaner- his vroom vroom. It's the only thing with a cord we let him play with. We figure, when he gets just a little taller, that'll be his first chore :)

He's pretty much sleeping through the night. His 4 molars decided to cut at the same time so that sometimes throws us off schedule but for the most part: dinner by 6ish, bath by 7ish, asleep by 8. Up by 7. Ah. He takes one long nap in the afternoon and sometimes a little one in the morning. Let's hope it's pretty much like this for the next few years.

Healthwise, he's great. At his one year, they were worried he was underweight by 3 lbs and told me to fatten him up. At 15 months, he measured 31" tall and 19lbs11oz which they were ok with. He had a bit of a rash for the first time this week but it's all better- his first experiences with penicillin were uneventful other than a few really messy dipes. Yuck. Developmentally, he still hasn't for sure said his first word. I think he's said GO. And he makes sounds like SH for shoe, KA for milk, YA in agreement most of the time, NA for no... he still babbles along like he knows what he's saying so we'll just agree with him until we get it I guess. Heh. He does know the phrases for sure- like when I say it's time to go, get your shoes, he gets them and sits right by the door waiting for me to put them on. If I take too long to get over there, he brings mine to me and throws them at my feet. It's pretty cute.

He loves Elmo, still, more than ever. He gets cranky if he doesn't see a little bit of Sesame Street everyday. I've been trying to cut it with a little Yo! Gabba Gabba! because he dances more to that. It's not like he sits and stares, he usually plays with it on in the background.

That's about it for now... more later.

1 year old!

These last couple of weeks have definitely put the exclamation mark on the end of a great year. We had a great little birthday party at Lake Miramar with friends and family. I made carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and Todd grilled some dogs and we had a blast celebrating. Wyatt's one year checkup was this week and he's 29 inches tall and weighs 18.5 lbs. The doc said she's actually a little concerned about his weight (despite the fact that T and I are both lil') so I'm supposed to feed him butter and other fatty things. A kid who's allowed extra ice cream, yay! :)

Wyatt started walking this week and is off and running (and falling). He crawls up the stairs when he's tired and ready to go to his room- hilarious! He kicks a full sized soccer ball, dribble style, while he's moving from one area to the other. He pushes a toy truck while standing, all around the downstairs... I think this will be moving outside when he's a little more stable and less wobbly. He still loves his books more than any toy- he'll pull them all down (focusing on one or two) and read to himself (baba ga hehe ga ba) usually forwards then upside down, he really is fun to watch play.

We're truly blessed to have such a healthy, happy baby boy. I can't love him enough.

Keeping busy

Whew! There's no time to just sit around when you have an 11 month old and friends/family who love to do stuff! We've been to the Wild Animal Park (rode the carousel for the first time) and the Zoo again this week.... The park (swinging & sliding for the first time!) and the Chicken Pie Restaurant today. Going to PB tomorrow for breakfast at The Broken Yolk with Andrea, then Ikea and some authentic Texas BBQ with Cim in the afternoon. JB's first soccer match is Saturday! Yowzers! I gotta take a break on Sunday.

Wyatt loves going out and flirts with all the girls, and he puts off his nap as long as possible so he doesn't miss anything. He's officially broken his mobile- the turny part broke a week ago but he pulled it into the crib and broke the arm thing today, so now it's just a music box attached to his crib. Whatever, he knows how to make it play the different sounds and he likes it so... until that breaks. :)

Need to go through his toys and clothes and get ready for the garage sale we're having on the 2nd. We'll be taking the bulk of the items over to Gwen's house on the 25th so I want to get this done soon. The 26th is Art Walk down in Little Italy and I'd love to take Wyatt to that so I hope we're not too pooped from prepping for the big sale...

new pics up and more to come soon...

Wyatt likes eggs!

Wyatt's been off his meals and sleep lately... he eats and he sleeps just not like he did schedule-wise. And then night before last, he slept through, ah. But then last night he didn't want to sleep at 2am. So, I guess we're starting the sleep program again. We'll see how tonight goes.

As far as eating goes, the last few days, he's been eating very minimal for breakfast and lunch (like 3-4 bites then all done fit comes on). He eats a huge dinner which I guess makes up for it but still... I thought maybe he was getting sick of the same (or variations thereof) bananas, cereal and yogurt for b-fast. But then lunch was the same and lunch is usually leftover dinner or what I'm having for lunch mixed with some jar food. So, I guess it's just timing. We tried an egg yolk this morning with a little bit of banana. He feeds himself cheerios all the time in his jumper and in the car so he's pretty good at feeding himself bananas. He loved the egg, just ate it up! Yay! :)

Wyatt's starting to point and reach a lot more... just last night, he heard Todd while we were getting ready for bedtime and he reached in the direction of the door even though he couldn't see him. That was so cool!

11 months...

Last night was the first night in about 3 weeks that I got 5 hours of straight sleep and Wyatt only woke once! We got to see Cindy and Phil a couple of times when they were in town this last weekend. Marge & Dennis came along with them too which is always fun. Wyatt loved being passed around to the grandparents and got plenty spoiled.

We had fun having the kiwi around- got to trade culture & lingo bits. He's off to Phoenix to hang with Tess and Wee again. Fun times had but it'll be nice to get back to some sense of normalcy.

Now, we're gearing up for a multi-family garage sale, Wyatt's first b-day party and my mom coming into town at the end of the month... but that's a few weeks off. The rest of this week is cleaning up the house, cleaning up some disc space so we can process some of the pics we've been taking, resting. Saturday, we're going to a friend's party for her 1 year old, then the Harp Fest in La Mesa to see dad.

Took Wyatt in for a quick check up last week, he's 18 pounds now! Wow, time's flying.

Touristy stuff

We've been to Phoenix and back... I'm not sure Wyatt's such a fan of road trips, next time we fly. But we had a great time while with Tess and Wee. Wyatt went swimming (for a little bit, it was pretty cold) and hung out by the beautiful pool. Angus the superpup was great with Wyatt. Tess and I caught up on movies and food and had fun while the boys went shooting, up at the cabin, with the EVE guys- UGGfest09. Todd and I brought a kiwi named Gareth back to SD and we've been showing him the sites. Balboa, beaches, Wild Animal Park, and the Zoo today... It's pretty interesting the culture differences and vocabulary. But it's been fun cooking and eating at the fun SoCal places as well as playing tour guide.

We had lunch with Phil and Cindy and Marge and Dennis Sunday. They swung through town for a bit before launching on a cruise then back later in the week for school board convention stuff. Looking forward to spending some time with them later in the week. :)

So, we're having fun but we're not really on any schedule lately... maybe we'll get back into it just in time for when my mom gets into town for her visit later in the month.

Worrisome parent stuff...

We went for Wyatt's third visit to the eye doctor to get his pressure and optic nerves checked and everything is mostly fine. The pressure in his eyes last time was L=18, R=28 and they chalked it up to being high (I guess around 10 is ok) because he was crying and squirming. Yesterday, his pressure was L=8 and R=28. And yes, he was screaming and arching and crying. It freakin' kills me having to hold him down while they pull apart his eyes and poke them with that reader thingie... yes, I called it a thingie- I'm no ophthalmologist so I don't know what it's called but it's the rubber tipped pressure reader thingie... and it sucks ass and anyone who tells me 'don't make him cry' while they're prodding him, just pisses me off. And when that same person doesn't check to see the thingie is actually on before poking, also really pisses me off. So yeah, that was even before we saw the doctor, an hour after our appointment time, nearing his dinner time, which really pissed Todd off.

Then the doc comes in and says he wants to make sure of the pressure. I think, hell yeah- YOU take the pressure and make sure it's right. But he has another idea since Wyatt's so upset by now... we can schedule time in the OR and with an anesthesiologist to be on hand and put him under a sedative to get a more accurate reading. What am I supposed to say to that? No? Of course we want to know what the pressure in his eyes are and make sure if he has glaucoma we treat it early on, but jeesh! Anesthesia!? So, I'm more freaked out about the whole anesthesia bit more than the glaucoma thing because none of the other symptoms are there but still. Todd's not worried about it and thinks I'm a little silly for being so freaked out but I am, so there. :)

Between the poking/prodding, the time change, and the fact he's been hella-teething this last week, I really feel bad for the guy. He had a pretty bad spot on his peep that hurt him so much he resorted to throwing full on fits when it was time to change his diapers. We got that fixed with a little nystatin... whew. But he's still hurting in his mouth and drooling, snotty and biting and just all around a bit pee wee. His appetite waned a bit this weekend but is back to normal.

He loves it when Todd or I wear woobies with strings so he can bite on them, that keeps him occupied more than any other toy we could dangle in front of him. That and water bottles, go figure. I'm hoping to get some 10 month pics up of him this weekend. We're really looking forward to our Phoenix trip this next week, definitely more pics then. Until then, I'll try not to worry about putting my son under but then again, I see it as one of the first of many times I get to worry about him and his health.
-wy

Almost 10 months old...

And full of mischief. Wyatt can pull his socks off, bang things together, ramble along like he's telling a story, and pull himself up to scootch around the furniture! He particularly likes pulling up on the dog, Fender is pretty patient and understanding of this phase I think. His crawling is better each day, he's more up on his knees and not so much dragging anymore. He's definitely teething more- he's had the two on the bottom since about 5 months but now he has 4 up top, they're about halfway out now. He's had the sniffles (just runny nose and drooling mostly) this weekend pretty bad.

We're looking forward to a busy next few weeks. We're going to be driving out to Phoenix to visit some friends I haven't seen in a few years and who haven't met Wyatt yet. A friend of Todd's is coming back with us to experience SoCal Suiter style for a week(?) or so. Then Todd's mom and step-dad and her best friend Marge and her hubby are coming out for a little over a week. We're totally looking forward to all the company! :)

even more...

Wyatt had his first cold- real cold, bronchitis. Luckily, he didn't have a fever the whole time. He's had a couple of cases of the sniffles but the last two weeks were filled with heavy congestion, a little wheezing and breathing on a nebulizer 3x/day, no fun. Todd was sick at the same time and I've been fighting it but we're all getting way better.

The top three teeth are definitely coming in- cut through the gums and he's kinda grinding them when he eats- sounds like an old rope bridge creaking, weird. Along with the sounds, he's sucking in his lips to chew on them more now... see goofy pics on flickr. So now, there are two middle lower teeth (since about 5 months) and now the top two center and the one on the left... might be time to consider weening soon since the cute little bugger laughs every time I say ouch! He is eating 3x a day, doing really well with a combination of jar and homemade food (mostly homemade, I do the batches into ice cubes- similar to these actually).

Fave activities right now are: playing with his truck, pulling all his books off the shelf (goodnight moon and that's not my dragon are faves), taking any two similar items and banging them together to make noise, playing with blankies/fabric- he waves them around and tries to make noise with them and blocks or toys... and socks- he's pulling his socks off and sucking on them if nothing else is available. He's totally pulling himself up now- to the point where he'll pull the books down, then kneel on them to get the leverage to stand and get up and reach on top of the shelves- all on his own! Dangerous place we've entered... I know. He's already had a couple of bonks where he just falls over but nothing major, yet.

monthly notes- almost 9 months already!

so since last entry, Wyatt continues to shuffle/kick/army crawl... he pulls with his arms and kicks with predominantly his right leg to get around, surprisingly, in a pretty straight line- maybe he pulls with his left arm more. not much has changed with this.

but just in the last week/few days: new tooth on the top left cutting through and two more top center are still little bumps in the gums. also, he's saying da-da now! (video coming, he stops doing it every time I get the camera on him) but yeah, ma, ga and da sounds now- exciting stuff!!!! he still loves his jumper but he's working on standing (assisted) with his truck toy and on the ottoperson... he doesn't really move much while standing/leaning but he does try to pull himself up over whatever he's holding onto. he's also pulled himself up onto his knees while playing with his truck- pretty cool!

he had his first in-and-out burger and hot dog this week (ground up and mixed into food... hehee). his palette is definitely expanding. he loves eating cheerios while in his jumper or on his play-rug: he's getting really good at picking them up and feeding himself- he waits until he's done with one before putting another in his mouth and he's really neat. he's eating breakfast, lunch and dinner in his highchair now with nursing sessions pretty much right before he goes down for nap or nighttime.

fave toys right now: great grandma's vtech phone still a hit from x-mas, push truck that makes siren sounds, gyro move & crawl ball, anything he can put his mouth on and books. oh, he got a new one today from grandpa don and grandma patty- too cute!!!

keep your eyes out for new pics and video...

8 months... wow

time sure does fly! let's see...

Wyatt can sit up on his own for awhile now, until he chooses to fling himself forward into a shuffle/creep/kinda crawl- he moves. He's eating all kinds of things: squash, corn, peaches, bananas, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans... also those graduates stars and cheerios (snack is what we call those) and whenever we eat something not-too-spicy, I mash up a bit for him to try. He's still only got those to lower teeth but he's starting to drool again and get some pains so we'll see where the next one pops up. He loves chomping on his Sophie La Giraffe and the teething tablets help, we're also going to try the amber necklace, per Celine's recommendation.

So far, this new year has proved pretty busy. We've been going to Gymboree class and a music class too- way fun, Wyatt loves banging things together in his hands and he's still loving jumping/bouncing. We started doing a study with UCSD on memory and we're going through a book everyday for a month and then go back to see if he reacts to new toys differently... should be interesting. Todd's sister, Nicki married Logan on the 2nd and they'll be visiting us in a couple of weeks. Yay! =) They're driving cross country to Kentucky but her Jeep is getting shipped here so Wyatt gets to meet his Aunt Nicki finally- Uncle Tim's the only one left to meet of the immediate fam.

We're on a good schedule- he sleeps 8-8 and gets two naps a day (mostly) from like 9-11 and 2-4. So yeah, we're doing well so far this year...

Back home and back to normal... sorta

We had a blast out in Omaha and got to see all of our family over the holidays. But it's good to be back home. Wyatt just started crawling so we're in pick everything up off the floor mode. Todd took this week off (sorta) and we've been able to do some pretty big projects.

It was really fun hanging with Chloe and Jeremy and Jeff and Celine. Wyatt really took to his Tatie and liked dancing with her and having her do row row row your boat on her legs. =) Wyatt made out like a bandit with xmas gifts- he LOVES his telephone and Sophie La Giraffe. Of course we had to leave some gifts behind and Grandma Cindy will send them off when she gets to catch her breath.

doing better and excited!

Yay! We're flying to Omaha tomorrow! Are we packed, nope. Are all the presents wrapped? nope. Are we still sick? nope. =) We have the lingering cough, barely and we're all feeling pretty good so far. It's cold and snowy in Omaha but cold and wet here so it'll be a gradual change not a kick in the butt, hopefully.

New pics up on the flickr site. I had a fever Friday and my throat's been sore, Todd is feeling under the weather too. I guess, it's just that everyone's been sick and it's our turn. The baby doesn't have a fever but boogers, oh my does he have a snot box on his face! Accompanied by the little hack that sounds like he's laughing and then we get all concerned b/c it's not, it's just a bit more than that... sigh.

I'm kind of glad that we're getting it out of the way now, since we're traveling to Omaha in a week and a half, better here than there... I just want us to all be better soon. We go in for his second half of his shots on Wednesday so we'll get him checked out then- I seem to recall he had the sniffles last time we went in too... hmmm....

new stuff...

wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since we've updated... time flying and all.

what's new: we started using the Ferber method Saturday night and have pretty much been sleeping through the night. we're still fine tuning the schedule but it's kinda like this: wake up at 5ish dipe/nurse/play and stay up for an hour or so, take a 2 hour nap, be up by 8ish. maybe take a couple of small naps throughout the day running errands but not a huge thing if not b/c by 430, ready for a real nap- sleeps until 645-7, wakes up for dinner/bath/etc. and bedtime routine by 815ish, asleep by 830.

he wakes up still but can put himself back down now, we're not running in there and picking him up and nursing 5 times a night... nice. =)

food: per the doc, we've been introducing veggies... he loves sweet potatoes and peas, is doing ok on green beans, not so good on carrots... tried some pears and avocado and he loves them! still only feeding them mixed in with rice cereal at night but starting those little graduates puffs and cheerios soon for him to feed himself. the puffs melt which is cool and he likes them.

loves his jumper, we're getting rid of swing- he's figured it out and is bored with it... clothes, he's wearing 6-9 months for the most part, he's got long arms and legs now! they're not all folded up like- he opens his hands more and his legs are really straightening out.

teething: yup, still/again i think- he's loving anything wooden lately in his mouth and he's my little drool monster. loves teething rings and this little giraffe auntie cimbria gave him. and no, he hasn't bitten me yet.

we're trying to get the clutter under control and get rid of stuff around the house, kinda a reverse nesting i guess... starting to babyproof a bit- got the tv on the wall and a baby gate in the kitchen, the coat closet actually closes now... we're getting there.

wyatt goes back for the second half of his flu shot and a weigh in on the 10th, he'll be 7 months old. we're going to visit the omaha crew the next week and we're looking forward to seeing everyone and having the holidays with some weather.

This week

has been interesting... Wyatt actually had his first fever, a reaction from his shots we figure since it was gone the next day. He's teething (still/again?) with more drool and such and he doesn't like peas. We had a blast- he did really good on the airplane and he was pretty much sleeping through the night, until...

News: the kid's got teeth! Two on the bottom have just cut through the gum and he seems to be pulling at his top already too. Also new (and yet to capture on video) is he gets into the giggles now- shoves his hand into his mouth and scrunches up his face in the most silly laughing fit.

Halloween pics will also be up soon- we have 4 different looks to shoot Wyatt in so be patient. I'm going to take Todd out for sushi (that's what he wanted) for his birthday dinner.... I offered to cook my famous enchiladas but no, he wants raw fish and rice, go figure. =) Still have to unpack and do laundry but kinda hard when he's waking up every hour to hour and a half throughout the night- we're pooped.

Fun Autumn Day!

We went to Julian today and picked apples and sat in a pumpkin patch... and now we're pooped! PICS here

Yup, let the slobber begin....

Wyatt's almost 5 months now and just in the last week or so, he's developed so much! He's slobbing and chomping more so I went and bought some 'teething supplies' as T said- a couple of toys and a food/mesh thing (made to hold ice/frozen foods/crackers for him to hold and gnaw on without choking. So begins this next stage I guess...

On top of that, he's starting to like tummy time, so much so that he's rolling over onto his stomach to sleep at night. Before we get a rush of concerned mail saying SIDS and EVIL... HE started rolling over on his own and has the strength to hold his head up, we don't keep anything in the crib with him and the first night he did this, we went in like 50+ times to make sure he was still breathing b/c we were SO freaked out.

He's also starting to sit up more although when given the chance (in somebody's hands) he'd rather stand and dance and stomp. He loves his jumperoo for just this reason- he can kick and sway and have a blast. Oh, and he loves shadows and ceiling fans.

Verbalization- starting more squeals and a wider range of sounds- he seems to move his tongue a bit more now, it curls up tweaking the sounds... still just goos and gaas and squeals but pretty neat. He likes it when I sing my silly alphabet song (Ah Ah, Ba Ba, Ca Ca, Da Da...) he laughs and likes the AH sounds I guess.

So yeah, hope to get more pics and video up before I go back to Austin next week. Wyatt and I will be over there from the 16th thru the 28th visiting mom and friends. More later....

Teething

Seems to have begun :) Also, little man has started rolling his little self over, so we're kinda keeping a closer eye on him when he goes to bed. He's doing a fairly good job of sleeping on his stomach.

Wy grabbed a bunch of teething supplies today, I'll let her fill you in, since I don't known what she bought :)
