Saturday of fun

Yesterday my stepmother threw me a shower. We got plenty of food and gifts. I was out there from like 12-4 and got to hang out with all of her Philipina friends from church. When everyone quit speaking English, I knew it was time to leave. I swung by Cim's house after to hang out, unwind and watch a movie. I told T I was on my way there and he suggested we go out to eat- but I've been eating all day long and having to be proper and all, I just wanted to hangout a little! He just laughed at me. I said that he got to hang out at the house and play video games all day and I had to be social like that I was tired and wanted to hang out with Cim. Again, he laughed at me and I was all upset he was laughing at me...

I let him know when I was on my way home and when I got back here, he had apple smoked thick cut pork chops grilling on our new Traeger grill. He had in fact had Re and Jo take him to pick up the ordered grill, got it back home, right after I left for the shower. T put it together and realized he had a bunk one, had the lady from the grill place load up a new one and drive it up here and take the busted one, put the new one together..... he let the paint cure on the hour high heat while the chops were brining then put them on to cook when I was coming home. So, I got another dinner at 10pm, a yummy one that my loving husband worked on all day, really. What a nice surprise! Todd really did his homework and the place where he got the grill from (great customer service!!!) is great. The pork chops were moist and smokey and yummy. I see him doing a lot more cooking in the future. =)

Easter dinner's going to be smoked ham and pineapple kabobs and 40 clove of garlic chicken- YUMMY!!!! Now I just need to go through and start writing thank you notes. T has jury duty tomorrow, fun!
