So here we are, less than 5 days before I begin the destruction of our upstairs while Wy hangs out in lovely austin, tx for a week or so.
Whats the plan, you ask? Lets take a look!
Thursday: ~600 sq ft of new hardwood is delivered. I get to haul it in and let it 'breathe'
Thursday.5 : I get to start hauling all of our stuff downstairs. Those of you have been to our place know the volume of belongings we have up there. The ~400lb bed will be a total treat...
Friday: Best Buy installer weenies come to actually INSTALL the stove. Including the nice new backsplash plate, since the Mo's that measured it didn't do it right. Like they should have the first 2 times they were at the house.
Friday.5 I'm still moving stuff downstairs....
Saturday: Advent of the tile guy, ripping out current floor in bathroom, popping toilet off, laying ~60 sq ft of new tile. No shower for me!!!
Saturday .5 : Hey look, I'm still moving stuff down stairs!
Saturday .8 Home Skillet Wee arrives in town for a week of fun in the sun. (Can't thank you guys enough for helping btw)
Sunday: tile guy finishing up
Sunday .3 Wee and I finish moving the super freaking heavy stuff downstairs.
Sunday .5: we start ripping out carpet and hauling it downstairs
Sunday .8 begin priming of walls in master bedroom. 2 or 3 coats of killz will be fun :)
Monday 3. paint master BR
Monday .5 new floor starts going down.
~sometime during the week: floor is done.
~ some day during the week:
Fix T's office door hanging problem
Put up new, as yet un bought, ceiling fan in stair well.
Install new kitchen faucet in, er, kitchen sink
Install new, as yet un bought, faucets in bathroom upstairs.
remove AC from window downstairs
Mount TV in MB, move old tivo upstairs. un ass cable wiring(this will be a "TREAT")
wash outside windows, inside if we have time
measure and buy wood for fireplace 'cover'. stain? maybe....
Sell couch and chair/ottoperson
Other random things as needed
Clean up copious amounts of dust, build fort from carpet remnants.
Monday: new carpet on stairs gets put in.
Monday-Friday: wait with baited breath for new couch being delivered friday.

sounds like ya have it all planned out- not bad for a non-planner. =) i finally picked the paint color- behr corn husk green. HA! take that ya nebraskans- corn husker red, hellz no... green!!! hehee.
seriously, that sounds like quite the week, i'm glad i'll be in the texas hill country shooting the sights and maybe even go hang out at the lake or something- it's been in the 80's there lately. pati's got a get together going on so i get to see the people i haven't seen in almost 6 years! and i get to hang with my photog friend ann too. should be fun!
yep, the best part is i get back on the 28th to all new floor coverings and new paint in the bedroom, woot! I'm stoked! thanks guys for all your hard work, in advance. i'm really looking forward to it.
